IP on ipad or AT&T router better?
 

Hello.

I'm new here and recently banned from selling on ebay.

I have a ipad 3G that I have used a few times that I logged in to the old banned account and mostly my macbook.

1. Can I use the ipad still? I checked what's my ip and every time it has a new ip address. I'm not sure how many ip's change until or if it will bring up a old one that I may have logged onto before? I use AT&T for 3G.

2. My macbook I use I also checked the ip after unplugging the router and it changes ip even when I don't unplug, also on AT&T. I can change user profile on the mac and wipe all broswers.

What in your opinion is my best bet? ipad or computer or don't at all?

I can just buy another ipad but that is $$$.

3G IP's have a really large IP Pool. I would recommend you keep using the ipad and tether it to your computer....but I would also recommend you log each IP Change starting now.

How to you guys upload pictures in beginning before using activa later. Can you clean the pics then email to ipad then upload via safari? Is this safe?

You clean your images by downloading them to your Computer then run an exif image remover...then put them back on you Tablet.

I tried a few EXIF apps but this one is the easiest and can do batch editing of all pictures in tablet or phone. I also checked it after cleaning to be sure it works. So far so good.

I've found the easiest way for me to clean images is just to open them in paint, resize them, maybe put a dot somewhere and re-save as a new file.

I generally have to crop and look my images over anyhow. So opening them in paint and re-saving is not a big deal.
