If memory serves me right, Paypal has a 2 MB limit for the uploaded docs. It means that many of the users have to use some kind of software at least to reduce the size of the docs (average camera today gives you a larger .jpg usually).
I'm sure Paypal does look at metadata and exif, but I assume (that's only my humble assumption) that editing (not obvious falsification, of course) doesn't play the main role in the decision "accept or decline the docs". It's rather one of the factor. If your account generally healthy, but there is Adobe in Exif - they would still accept it, I think (again - it's not based on the experience or facts).
Anyway, the best way would be, as oompaloompa said: edit - print - rescan (not using the highest resolution). |
