Creating new Entropay cards

Hi,

Just been on my Entropay accounts (I have two). Everytime I try to create a new card by transferring part of the balance from an existing Entropay card I get a system error coming up. This has been like this since yesterday. Creating a new card from your registered debit card still works fine though. I've emailed Entropay about the problem and am awaiting reply. Hopefully it is just temporary and that they have not changed the rules regarding funding new cards.

If it starts to work again or I get anything back from Entropay, I'll update the thread. In the meantime, can anyone else with an Entropay account verify that this is the case or is the problem just on my two accounts?

Well, we spoke about this a while ago. Oompappa said she used this method of funding ( you transfer part of the balance on the first card to create the next card.) But I have an email from them that says something different:

Follow/up message about funding. If I have
$20 or £10 on the default card, may I use part of those funds for second or more cards? Like, transfer part of that balance as funding source. Or do all cards now need that amount of $20 or £10 for creation.
Thanks

Do note the ‘Create a new EntroPay Virtual Card’ link will only work if you have more than the minimum deposit amount on your existing EntroPay card.
If we can be of any further help please do not hesitate to contact us.
Kind Regards
James

£10 or US$20 is the minimum deposit amount & they say you need more. Guess we wait to see what they tell you.

Still waiting for a reply from them...

Up until yesterday I could create new cards from existing ones by transferring as little as £1 to the new card. Today I even tried to transfer £12 from an existing card to create a new one and got the same error message. As I said earlier, creating new cards by funding from the registered debit card works fine (a minimum of £10).

Hopefully it is just a temporary system problem and not permanent. Either way, Entropay is still extremely useful for both Ebay and Paypal. It just means that a bit more cash would be required to create each new card. This in itself is not a major problem as purchases always need to be made on new accounts to build a bit of feedback.:thumb:

Anyway, let's wait and see what they say.......
