just got this email from entropay :

This is Rita from the fraud department of EntroPay.com



While reviewing your account, we have noticed that you have created xx

Entropay Virtual Visa cards.



For fraud control purposes we would appreciate if you can provide

information as to why such a high number of cards is being used.



Your account is fully operational and your VCCs are active. However do

appreciate that in order for us to ensure that we keep fraud under control,

we might need to restrict your account if we do not receive a reply within

the next 3 business days.

my question is what should i reply to them, should i say its for different ebay accounts ?

I dont even know what to say, except commonsense is always best. I hope the figure xx out wasnt like 91 :)

Why not have 10 different entropay accts that rotates 20pnds each with say 10virtual cards.. especially if you are doing alot of business.

Im sure Entropay wouldnt care if the source 'funder' is the same

no i have liike about 20 cards. What do u mean 10 different accounts, then i would have to use ⊗⊗⊗⊗ information, which u cant with entropay

its fine, what do they want ID? or just asking why...

difficult one,, saying its giftcards for various friends is an innocent thing to say but they dont allow it to be sued for that, although whatever you say they wont really do much to you, they want your business. I got asked this by entropay and told them it waas for various ebay accounts in poboxes, and they said fine! Although I only had 4 cards at the time.

What was their final answer ? My experience with entropay is excellent - they asked for docs, i sent them by fax, and in 8 min my account was ok

that is normal email to get panic, just tell them i have many suppliers and you use each card for each supplier, that's it

All the cards are still kept under your name or have you "re-named" them as different names...?

Each of my cards has been renamed to my stealth name so I can easily keep track. Is this not advisable??

Probably not. Looks more "fraudulent" when you have loads of cards all with different people's name on them. I tend to go with just numbering them or card 1, card 2, etc etc.

What you're doing isn't likely to get your account closed but if someone does look at it, there's a bit more explaning to do.

I renamed them as Ebay 1, Ebay 2, etc, etc...they give you the option to name each card with a different name.

That's better but why not just use #1, #2, etc...less info :)

Will do that from now on....but still don't know what should I say to Entropay
