Entropay ask me for info.
 

I just created entropay account and got limitation they ask me for:
1.) Personal Identification: A clear copy of your Passport, Photographic Drivers Licence or I.D. Card (both sides).
2.) Payment Verification: A clear copy of both sides of the credit/debit card (covering the middle 8 digits of the card number, and the 3 digit Card Security Code (CVV/CVV2)) and a clear copy of a recent bank statement on which your name and address are clearly visible."

Can I send them just copy of passport and debit card and they will unblock me ?

Yep exactly the same happened to me last week. I scanned copies of my documents and within the hour entropay responded and everything was fine. Worth that little extra effort!

I got response that they have receive my documents and I need to sen them may username, when I send the username I got this message:

Thank you for sending us the documents of which we confirm receipt, however we would appreciate if you could also supply the following -:

1. Non-free e-mail address (work or ISP).

2. Landline telephone number and a convenient time to call should we need to reach you for verification purposes.

3. Merchant at which you intend to spend the funds (this will help us validate your account application)

We thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.


What should I do next ?

Wow you got a bit of security flag going. You need to send them a non-free e-mail....I am sure you can be creative with that - as for landline number, isn't so hard to spoof.

You can contact them back saying you don't have specific merchants but you want to shop well on the net...

recently it happen again, does anyone has this problem creating new accounts now?

yes indeed, I opened today an account and they want all the ID stuff, to me this company does not seem to be what people are saying here.....

and once they got you under the radar, there's no b lessing on it straight from the start...

I had trouble with it just 20 minutes ago. I opened a new account but they want the following:


1.) A clear copy of your Passport, Photographic Drivers Licence or I.D. Card (both sides).

2.) A clear copy of both sides of all funding sources registered on your account, (For security reasons, we only need to see the first 6 and last 4 digits, Please COVER the 3 digit security code (CVV)). If your funding source is a Virtual Card, please send us a screenshot.

3.) A clear copy of a recent utility bill, on which your name and address are clearly visible.

4.) The name of the merchant at which you intend to spend.

It's annoying to say the least.

EDIT: I submitted all they ask for. Just waiting for reply now.

EDIT #2: All done and approved within 1 hour.

So you know Entropay will limit your account whenever you use a new card more than 2 times.

They ask for all the same info again, and they do this ONCE before you can use your account also.

Oh and when I submitted my info the name on my ID was one letter different to the name I gave them. It went through with no problems. I don't think they even checked.

What does #4 mean?

entropay want to know whereabouts you might spend the funds. :spy:


Today's useless info, entropay is getting much stricter for potential US users who might do online gambling. :eek: They are making efforts to minimize any damage by way of scams etc.

I got a quick question. When you put forward your details for en tro pay, do you use real name and adress etc ot stealth details?

This is where I am getting confused. By putting in real details, am I right in thinking you would have to put the same real details when you add the card to ebay or paypal?

Use your real details with Entropay.

They wont be shared with paypal.

I am New to this so if I am doing this wrong I am so sorry. BUT, question..... Does entropay verify documents 24/7 or do they work from X time to X time in a specific time zone?
