So i know you have probably heard my question plenty times before but
i searched and searched this forum and because of the different countries i got confused :rolleyes: :confused:

So here goes...

I am in the UK and want to register another ebay seller account and paypal account but NOT in my name.
Does entropay work with card and bank verification on paypal and ebay?
And i read that if i open an entropay account in my REAL name that neither paypal or ebay will see my name if i use a stealth name?
And am i allowed to have multiple entropay cards or accounts incase i would like to do more than 2 ebay accounts?

with EP, you can have many cards and use them all at the same time if you wish, your real name won't be revealed.
EP are cards, not banks accounts
you will be able to create other vccs, name them whatever, best to name them after the stealth account holder name. Thus, you won't get confused

Am i right in thinking that the first time you register it has got to be in your own name and legit info.

Then you are free to set up other cards in every name you please.

Im only going to use the card to pay ebay fees.

The reason i ask is because i have done plenty of research but it is very confusing when you read 10 people saying different things.

Sorry if im asking a repeated question but it would be good to get a definate answer rather that waste a hard earned bank account.

ok, let me tell how i do it
1- you register with EP with real data and they will ask for docs
2- you load money into your account by adding a funding source
3- you start creating vccs, you can add any name you wish & load it with any amount you wish to as well.
4- You may load the vcc from your funding source or transfer from your basic card that you loaded in step 2

Just to let you know what i have done

registered on EP with my real infor - name and address
loaded £10 from my funding source - There was nothing about asking for Docs

Then created another card with my stealth data - just name, didn't ask for address

Gone into ebay and paid my fees with the card number given.
Thou the address shown when i was paying is the stealth address, would this create any problems or would they be able to link it to my registration details on EP

Couple of extra tidbits.

It's not a given they ask for doc's.

It's also wiser to not name the virtual cards.
Why? entropay has asked users why they have cards in different names.
Dont forget paypal want only the numbers (of cards)
What I do is simply put the initials of the account on the virtual card as a reference.
That's added to my excel sheet.

Or you use name (like John Doe) and add initials/digits for reference.

so does entropay share information with paypal?

Am i able to use the initial card that is created for my one stealth account im setting up or do i create a fresh card?

Here's the beauty of etropay:

they are not ( as of 02/15/2012) sharing info with paypal.

Use the funds from your real card to make a 'fresh card' that will have different account numbers :D

I have heard that entropay to verify the account is no longer accepted? you know when you go to list an item and it says how you want to pay - by bank account, card or paypal. i always thought choosing pp is the safest but am hearing entering the entropay vcc to verify details is the way to go? any advice on this?

but if entropay isnt accepted anymore then choosing to pay by card (having created a vcc through entropay) won't be accepted?

Hi, just a quick easy question, i made a pp account with an ep vvc, where can i get the 4digit code to verify my pp, thanks in advance.

you need to add a bank account to your paypal account and complete the direct debit mandate and then they will deposit 2 small deposits in your bank account which you put into the fields on paypal. It will take about 2-3 days to show on your bank account.

ive signed up and loaded £10 onto the card. now is this card ok to pay fees with if i enter stealth name/addy on ebay or do i need to set up another card now so that the stealth name/addy on ebay match the stealth name on the card? basically, is it ok to use the initial card or is another one needed for fee paying?

so i transfer funds from the initial vcc to the create new card vcc. it says i can load between 1.00 and 9.90, is this correct?

load it with whatever you need to pay the fees

they charge 10p for loading yes

make sure the vcc is opted as the method to pay ebay fees

initial card i set up in entropay worked fine to verify pp. can i now use the same card to pay ebay fees or will a new card need to be created?i dont see any reason why it cant be used as this will be the first time it will be entered on ebay?? at the moment my pp and ebay arent linked and they may actually get suspicious if my pp has one card number but im paying the fees with another card number.

why have you not linked paypal to ebay

because i havent sold anything yet, will need to after i list an item. im going to try the initial card and see what happens, its registered in my real name and addy but if they dont share this information then i dont see any issues. yes all the eb and pp info matches.

use the same card entropay for both pp and eb

when you list either opt to pay fees with the entropay cc

OR with paypal and have the credit card as your mainfunding option to pay fees etc

Complicated way to use entropay, very messy :violin:

ok just add the ep card to paypal

dont add to ebay

when prompted to pay fees,go with paypal

add the card to pp if you have not done already

bish,bash,bosh bobs your dads brother

added the ep card to pp, went thru fine. will add pp to fund fees, saves loading up the card everytime i want the fees paid. now it can just come out pp balance.

if not paypal balance the card

best to make sure there is always funds to pay them and also cover chargebacks

keep them happy,and you will benefit
