Entropay usage question

question about entropay, if you transfer £10 to a card and use those funds, close the card down and create another and then funds get returned to you what happens to the funds ? do they get returned to your main card or as card where funds were taken is no more are funds lost for good ??

hope that's a clear question

thanks

Re: Entropay usage question

That is what has happened for me.

Be careful of closing down virtual cards with entropay though.

There is no real need.

Re: Entropay usage question

but you can only get limited cards with them, I think 10 if documents not sent in, hence the query really

Re: Entropay usage question

I was addressing using the card correctly.

Not making an attempt to bypass their rules for stealth.

Re: Entropay usage question

isn't that rare for most people in the forum though, most use multiple accounts whether it ebay or amazon so they will always be in the game as such if something happens.

Just wondered whether funds would be lost this way

Re: Entropay usage question

You close a card, money goes to default card, but takes 30 days to clear. Why not transfer funds to card of choice and then close with about $1. I can wait for a month without a buck.

Re: Entropay usage question

Entropay better than V3?

Is so which benefits

Re: Entropay usage question

it is cheaper and gives you 1 year rather than a 3v voucher which is 3 months. Can do it from home as well

Re: Entropay usage question

Will it not look strange buying multiple cards with different addresses on 1 bank account?
This is what keeps me from buying into it at the moment
Whats the minimum load required, i couldn't find this

Re: Entropay usage question

Based on what you've put here, your understanding of how Entropay works isn't quite right.

Entropay isn't a bank account.

You also sign up with your real name and address and thereafter do not change this.

Entropay cards will add to ebay / paypal in any name or address.

Re: Entropay usage question

Sure, thanks for the info,

I thought the purpose of entering the debit details in paypal was to verify your name/address details
How can this be with Entropay if your real details are on the card, I dont see why paypal would allow this if it doesn't link a buyer/sellers name/address?
Obviously it works and i'm missing the point, I am new just trying to understand.

Could it not possibly end with paypal catching onto this then demanding details in the long run?

Is that not the point with the v3 (adding address details same as stealth)

Re: Entropay usage question

You never user your bank issued card for stealth.

This is why we recomend the likes of entropay & 3v voucher.

You have a layer of protection stealth wise.

Re: Entropay usage question

you can add any name / address that matches your stealth account

Fleabay999 02-25-2014 05:56 AM

Re: Entropay usage question

Sorry i missed the point, I know you need another card in a different name hence not using your own card
I got a little confused with Ebayorbust quote "You also sign up with your real name and address and thereafter do not change this"

So i pay with my debit card and put my stealth details on the entropay straight away?

What i was saying though will it not look odd paying for multiple cards on your debit card and changing many names and addresses, entropay will have your bank/details wont they

Re: Entropay usage question

I think you need to read the details on entropay as you don't seem to be getting it and also maybe search the forum about entropay

many queries already answered

If that is not the pot calling the kettle black. :pound:

Your own OP showed you did not do the same thing.

Another user gave you the info off the site to help you.

Re: Entropay usage question

I'm in a discussion here, what is the point in taking it to another thread?

My point being you are paying with your actual debit card on multiple entropay accounts, on these accounts the details are changed to stealth yes

Will this not look odd to entropay that you keep changing names and addresses considering entropay is linked to you debit card

You havent really explaind anything id im honest.

Atleast v3 is cash paid up front and then details are changed, no trail to your actual account.

I know it works clearly but do you not get what i'm saying?

Yes im new i will need to look up but these are my questions.

this is the neat trick with entropay. You use your real info to make the entropay account. You can use your debit card here.

You fund the account with at least £20.00. Then you create your virtual card with at least £7. You use the numbers of that card and put them onto your stealth paypal account.....

See what is good here? No need to worry about names & address.

If it is still confusing, feel free to pm me :)
