Entropay funding source verification code not received after entropay deducted £1.00
 

I added a funding source to entropay and tried to add £60 to the entropay card so i can use it to pay my seller fees.

I was only able to upload maximum of £25 and entropay said they would deduced £1.00 off the funding card and I would see a verification code on my bank statement in 2-3 days...well i checked and it only says 'entropay london' no code at all...so i have contacted entropay to ask what is going on.

has anyone else had this problem?

Entro are normally able to help.

Twice recently.

Quick email to entropay resolved the problem.

I contacted entropay yesterday to explain this issue and so far they have not got back to me

How long did they take to sort it out for you and what did you tell them?

Need the code asap as need to pay seller fees!

as to the £25 limit, this remains until you verify the card

Am currently having this issue with Barclays Bank and Entropay, been going on since last Thursday so the three days are now up and still no entro code appeared in the bank just the £1 debited, emailed entro who just keep sending same reply that the transaction and code has gone through successfully yet clearly that is not the case, so entero not being helpful in this case

you need to phone your bank and ask for the payment approval code and then give that code to entropay and they will manually accept it.

This is a common problem with entropay.

Phoned bank several times over this and they say no code received to date, been back and forwards with emails to Entropay since they emailed me on Friday to say don't need to wait for code to appear in online bank account statement can ring my bank and ask for it, so bank saying it has not been received and Enteropay saying it has been deposited in my bank account and this is one of the big four UK clearing banks as well

Hi there, no I never did get anywhere with getting that sorted out, got fed up in the end and bought a VCC from one of the sellers on here, I gave up on Entropay completely!

I had a similar incident when verifying my Halifax card earlier today.

I ended up ringing the Halifax and they gave me the 6 digit code, emailed entropay and it was all sorted out very quickly.

The Halifax told me that the code is only active while the £1 payment is being processed into the account so you will need to be quick.
