ooooo.halo | 11-27-2014 01:49 PM | entropay Have just created a sub entropay card and they want me to verify my card. They are withdrawing £1 from my card with a code. The pound has been taken but no code which i understand will probably take a few days to appear on my online banking.
Bevause the £1 has been taken, does that mean bank will have code if i ring up for it. Daft me sitting around waiting if bank can give me it over the phone
:-). |

Sorry also for posting here....i should have posted in entopay section :-) |
trosky | 11-27-2014 03:34 PM | entropay I don't think your bank will have that info that fast, takes until the transaction is approved for merchant info (the code) to show up |

Code does not always appear. If that happens you will need to drop a message to entropay |

Shall i try bank firsr or go straight to entrpay?
thanks |
Dmshark25 | 11-28-2014 03:14 PM | Re: entropay What day did you make the test charge??, because with entropay it takes usually 4 Business days, and this is the norm , I have made and charged at least 60 Entropay cards for Paypal and it has been the same for every charge
The code will come, and you can't count yesterday which was a holiday and The weekends
Just do the test Charge and forget about it for a week and than go back and The code will be there.
There really is no need to rush , this the first week of your paypal account you shouldn't be selling,or withdrawing $500
And I wouldn't even make a purchase more than $2000 the first week of an account, so there really is no need for the code right away |

Its been quite a quick process.
It was yesterday morning that i applied for a new sub card and they said they wanted verification by way of charging my cc with £1. Checked my online banking and that amount was taken but nothing else.
Have logged in tonight to online banking and it is now showing on my statement as £1 and next to this amount it says www.entropay.com
So will code just appear later?
You mentioned something about withdrawing and purchasing.im not intending to do anything. Im just wanting to set up a new stealth and start giving new account some history. I asked in another thread yesterday about xmas and GB suggested i spend over xmas with this new account just browsing etc....then my intention is to start selling in january or february :-) |
trosky | 11-28-2014 03:57 PM | Re: entropay There is no need verify that card before opening ebay account, especially if just to browse at first. It's technically more robust but not necessary. I always create my ebay with just the VCC unconfirmed |

Then i join ebay...then build some browsing history and slowly sell.
But i will do what youre saying. Im in no rush at all in terms of selling. Id love to start selling low risk stuff right away but i know that my account could be at risking doing that over the xmas period:-(
Thank you |
trosky | 11-28-2014 04:16 PM | Re: entropay It's the safest way yes, and a good habit to have so if in no rush keep doing it that way. A few days less of browsing history won't be that different.
Everyone does stuff different. And some people can take more or less risk. I just sold today my first item on one of my new accounts, VERY low risk $10 item. As long as everything else is right and it's for sure low risk it shouldn't be a problem. Yeah maybe it's a little more risky than other times of the year but if you can take the extra risk. For me it's worth it to sell at least the 1st, so the 90 days countdown starts.
We're all in the risk management business in this stealth business ;) |

Great to hear you got first sale today on a new.account. Yes, i agree its a risky time. But all my stuff is low risk. I do have some better things but gonna wait some time before introducing any of that.
Thanks again |
Dmshark25 | 11-28-2014 06:05 PM | Re: entropay Oh if you made it yesterday than you won't see the code until maybe Tuesday or Wednesday , I'm in the US so maybe it's different but on every card I confirm Entropay will take 4 business days, so you don't include Saturday and Sunday in the count
Also a lot of factors vary when you start to sell so it's different for everyone but in general if you have a confirmed PayPal account than its ready to,sell on, you don't need to wait if you don't want to for the code |
peghmeypong | 11-28-2014 06:17 PM | Re: entropay ooooo.halo, are you talking about verifying your own credit or debit card for use to top up Entropay or are you talking about using an Entropay card to confirm a PayPal account? |

My bank statement says www.entropay.com - £1
:-) |
peghmeypong | 11-28-2014 06:27 PM | Re: entropay I had that this week too. That's all I got in my online banking. I sent a message to the Entropay customer services in the help centre, they asked for a picture of the transaction from my online banking, I obliged and it was available to use straight away. Just stick to your guns with them, tell them it's not available from your bank. |

They have told me to ring bank for it. They wont do anything till 3-4 days have passed so have told me to.wait a couple more days, ring bank and if they havent got it then they will sort it out :-) |
peghmeypong | 11-28-2014 07:02 PM | Re: entropay I was in a bad mood at the time, earlier in the week.... Moaned a lot and told them the bank wouldn't give me the code and they just accepted a screen grab of the transaction. | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 12:41 AM. | |
