Taking photos on phone

Can you use photos from a cell phone if that cell phone has been on the same IP as the one that was blocked? Im not using my phone because I used it to take photos that were listed on the blocked et/sy. but can I use my roommates phone to take the photos because the cell phone photos are looking better with the lighting than my regular camera.

Since I am not using the app I was going to just email the photos from my roommates phone to my new email address and then can i clear the megadata from cell phone images?

Will this link me some how?
Also if i ever get a new cell phone can I start using that to take my photos or will it link me because its in my name? Im never sure how much et/sy can see and tell from photos.

Re: Taking photos on phone

Any picture taken with ANY device should and is recommended they have their exif data removed. Once that's done, you can use it as you wish.

run the photos through batch purifier to be on the safe side, only takes a few seconds.

Hi, before uploading any images from your device. You should ALWAYS remove EXIF Data. It shows resolution of image, time, device manufacturer/model, even gps coordinates.

You can remove EXIF Data directly from your phone. There's an Android app called "Exif Eraser", and an ios app called "Metapho"

Hope this helps!

Exactly. I have a dedicated phone I use that IS NOT connected to any internet or cellular data(Ya I could have another account oh well) and it NEVER shows up with any EXIF data, however, I still run it through Metapho before I upload it to my computer.

Definitely an extra layer of protection....

If you're on a Mac, I recommend ImageOptim to strip all photo data.

I'm not sure if I was an odd exception or not. But I use the same camera I used from the banned accounts on all of my stealth accounts. Did NOT erase exif data or anything. All going good for years. Imagine millions people using the same phone model/camera model. So for myself, I don't worry about new photos. HOWEVER, old banned photos MUST be processed!

Using old photos is ignorant. Stripping or not you will get flagged eventually.

That's why I told him to "process", not "stripping".

what do you mean when you say "process" instead of stripping?

Just take new pictures to be safe, remove the exif data and list.

I also rename the files after i strip them. I get paranoid and i feel like it might cause a link if the pic titles are concurrent over multiple accounts. :noidea:

Alright,
1st. Stop trying to register any new accounts with your phone, just stop and don't try again, please.

2nd. Before you attempt to register again, make sure you have all the items you need.....Name, Address, Phone, etc.

3rd. You need several things to NOT get linked or banned.
a) New IP (Do you have a plan for this?)
b) New User Account OR something like VMWare but for you....id say New User on your Computer
c) New Pictures, New Descriptions, even new Products if possible

4th. How do you plan to get around the Direct Deposit issue?

As MM78 pointed out, unless you know how to get around the SSN issue you're going to be stuck.
