New account got banned after first sale.
 

I received a email from ets.y today saying:
Based on inconsistencies we reviewed in your account information, we have reason to believe that your business presents a significant risk to the marketplace and we can no longer accommodate your account(s) on Ets.y.
I just made my first sale few days ago,before that everything is fine.
I used same name but everything else is different including the product I'm selling.The only thing I'm thinking might got me caught is I use my computer without any protection to browse my store,not log in,just browse it.Is that possible they caught me because of that?

By the way,lots of my competitions who have more than one shop got banned these days....
Did etsy improve their technique？

When you say used your computer, is that the same computer and profile etc that you used for your first et.sy store that was banned? And the same name, was that just for the bank account or did you use the same name for the shop owner?

Its hard to say what it might have been without knowing your full set up. But I haven't seen any issues with my accounts recently to say Et.sy have upped their game.

Thanks so much for your reply.Yes it's the same computer and same wifi,but I didn't log in.Just use it to browse etsy listings.
I use the same name for the bank account,not for the shop owner.
Everything is new except my name for the bank account.

etsyhater, how long was it between you opened the store, and your first sale?
