This happens all the time on etsy and some on ebay. I can't tell you how many messages I get saying, hey I'm having this charity event will you donate such and such for free. Or if I buy a few items can I get a discount. I love people who want quality discounts when they order 5 things. It's annoying but I've just learned to ignore them and live with it.

I fell for this once a very long time ago. And they didn't do a Youtube video and then stopped responding to my messages. People just want free stuff. Yes it may give you some traffic but who really cares if some random ass person on Youtube likes or dislikes a product.
