Paypal country linked with Etsy shop?
 

Hello, this is my first post in the site. As all of us I started a shop on Etsy which was going awesome, specially during the months of November, December and January! My shop lasted for 8 months until I created a second shop for my girlfriend (we where selling similar but still different items). I was so happy with the income that we planned a trip together with the money, but then they closed both shops and BAM! Dreams got F*****!

I want to start this thing again, with an Etsy stealth account, but I really don't want to make any mistakes this time. I was doing dropshipping from China, but I live in Chile. So I set up my shop like if it was located on China, Beijing. They saw the inconsistent information of my locations and closed both shops.

I discovered you can use a new IP address from a different location with a VPN, for example I want to set my IP in Hong Kong this time.

My question is, If I create the new shop located in Hong Kong and then I create a Paypal account with the information of a person from my real country "Chile", will they suspend the shop for that?

By the way, I'm just using paypal for billing so they don't ask me for a DNI on Etsy when creating the shop. My question is if they care or link the information you set on your linked Paypal account? Does the different countries matter to them?

Yes, you can totally set up a new store in HK with that method. But be aware that you will be asked to enter bank account/id verificaton and use Direct checkout by May 17, 2017. Hongkong is one of the places that et*sy requires the new Payment.

OMG so wrong. They can see where you ship from, Etsy has buyers that they send coupons to ......to just buy from you so they can see/test your shipping.

china please stay away....its bull****. I have dealt with china for 7 years and so many complaints. We have awesome USA dropshippers with original usa products.

Oh bye the way, last week 3 dropshippers got arrested in the USA. Importing ⊗⊗⊗⊗ goods/counterfeit. Google it!

Yes we know so many get away with it, are you willing to risk your families life over it?

Their question had exactly nothing to do with dropshippers. If etsy is watching you enough to buy off you...well you've got bigger problems.
