Master "Infringement" List
 

I know there are a few of us who have came across the brutal removal of products due to copyright infringements. I was thinking maybe we can start to list certain things here that were removed so just in case you have some listed as well, you can remove them before you get popped. So far, these are the ones I have been flagged for (Im a clothing vendor and do pretty decent numbers)

Kobe Bryant
Selena (Hispanic Singer)
Beyonce
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Spongebob
Thomas the Train
Bruce Lee


I do a lot of sports sales but have never been flagged so I may leave the kids stuff alone and focus directly on sports because I don't want anymore hits.

Lists like this are while well intended not always that useful

All this really means is that these items got removed on your accounts

Its possible that they would be fine to sell on another account that has either approval or a lot more trading history.

Its why lists never really work as its so subjective.

Here's a simplified list:

Don't sell other people's copyrighted items and complain when you get taken down.

I get the feeling this thread may be removed by admin, I've seen a similar thread be removed, I think because it draws unwanted attention.

You say this, but I once got an infringement notice on an item that didn't infringe. Some companies are a bit ruthless and Et.sy doesn't care about much but itself.

Its not really the attention it brings.

Threads like this just don't really add anything. You just cannot make a master list. Each account is just too subjective

These list are pointless, things change all the time and no one is going to be searching the whole forum to find such list.....
