Can e.tsy know your paypal merchant ID?

I want to use the same paypal account for my stealth account,will this be a problem?Some people say etsy can know your paypal merchant id,so it won't work even if you change your email and other information.Is it true?

I don't think they can - I'm sure you just need to add a new email address to your PayPal and can use the same one. I would wait for more responses just to be sure but I am almost certain they can't.

They have no access to your merchant id. All they can see is your email, and depending on how you make payments the business name associated with it.

You can't use the same email for sure.

Why not just make a new PP, ETY fund aren't subject to PP holds, so it's not like there's any penalty for a having a new PP account.
