Got my first order and confused
 

I'm back on Etsy after they introduced direct checkout and I just got my first order, since I'm not receiving payment form PayPal, how can I be sure that I have received payment? The funds are not showing up on my shop stats and the new order is not showing up either. Please help

The payment is available after a day but if you go to finances and shop payment account you should be able to see it under your unavailable balance. The new order should be under orders if neither of those are there then you don't have an order. Maybe it got removed?

I see one order under orders but there is zero under my balance.

New shops have three day holds so you won’t see the payment in your available balance until tomorrow.

Have you checked weather the order is cleared or still pending? Especially on DC accounts the first time orders tend to be pending for 24-48 hours. At least that was the case for me. It'll show an order but no money. Check the email.

I do have an old account with few sales from few years back, but it was left unconfirmed with DC and ID. Now I've confirmed it with DC and got first sale, which is pending. It's been almost 5 days now. Is this normal?

5 day holds on payments when you first add a bank is normal. If the order itself is still pending after day six it's uncommon.

It's the order itself. I've contacted etsy to how it goes from there.

Delayed payments

Sales can sometimes take a bit longer than normal to process completely. When this happens, you'll receive an email from Etsy informing you that your order is currently in a processing state.

The processing state will only be temporary. You'll receive a separate confirmation email when it's complete.

Note: Please hold off on shipping your order until you've received this confirmation.

While the order is still processing, it won't appear on your Orders page. Instead, you'll see a small note saying, "You have processing orders."

Please wait to ship the item until:

you receive an email confirmation that the order was processed, or
you see that the order has moved to your Orders page
If your sale can't be completed, the item will go back up for sale in your shop. Please don't ship the order until you see that the processing has completed.

If you have any orders that have been processing or in the processing state for more than 48 hours, email us or request a phone call by clicking the contact link at the bottom of this page.

Ok, it seems there's an issue. They do not like that bank account holders name is different than the shop owner. (I haven't got issues with this before). Any advices what's the safest way to proceed?

I'm afraid this is something I've not encountered before. What bank are you using?

I would just change the name on the bank account.
