Etsy account shut down!
 

I woke up this morning to find out that my 3 etsy accounts were closed.

I feel behind 4 months ago due to late shipping/ only had one late shipping since that time. I have only received perfect stars from my buyers.

The notice received stated this account will be closed forever.

What can I do?

I opened up a m.24vc.com, but I do not even know what to do with that....

I was thinking my only chance would be the following:

Have my dad open the account....

- It would include his bank information
- His address
- His Identification
- His IP Address

I would create a bio that fit for him and would take brand new photos for each and every item. The listing and tags would be different.

I would no longer login into etsy at my house where I use my etsy the most.

I would print labels at his house or at a library.

I would only list at his house or at a random place (e.g. library).

So basically I will never operate ETSY on the current IP Address that I have.

Do I have a chance?????????? hopefully

Purchase the stealth guide and have a read, you'll soon get to grips with what to do and it wont seem any where near as complicated as it does now

With a bit of knowledge on how stealth works, you'll be able to continue listing products from your home, the 24vc vpn service will allow you to do that.

Make sure you set up a new user profile on your computer, follow the stealth guide and act like a new user would. You'll be a stealth pro before you know it. Anything you are unsure on, just have a look here on the forum

What are the percentages of actually staying on once you have created a new account?

I purchased the stealth guide; however, if I follow my original plan will that work?

No more working home... Only at my parents or an off site location (e.g library or starbucks.)

A while back I got blocked from an administrator from PROBOARDS... It was a college basketball page....... I can view posts from other people on my phone outside my house but once I home it says banned... This is phone or computer...

My issue is that if this site can easily ban and see me so can etsy.... I purchased the change IP address, but apparently it has done nothing....

I depend on this 100% and I am FREAKING OUT!

I did... why? I use had 4 etsy accounts.... 2 with my address... 1 with my brother and one in my dads... Those were all just mailing address..

- 2 older ones had my address with SSN..

- The other two were smaller and didn't require that....but I used my dad's address as a shipping option.. not his name just our store name with his address...

I am freaking out... I have a mortgage DUE!

Avoid those public-access IPs at all costs.

Do more research and operate carefully before you rely on this 100%

Here is my issue....

I have a new person (my dad) etc...

The only issue is that in one of my VERY small stores I used his address with my store name since I sold similar stuff and didn't want it to look like it was coming from the same place.

I have sold for 4 years and never was asked to provide an ID.

I am thinking about going to UPS and getting an address there, so he can use that address when he creates his store...

WHAT ARE THE CHANCES HE WILL BE ASKED FOR AN ID???

You staying on depends on your product, store, how you run it, other factors that are unknown.

I’ve been banned for almost a decade and have over a dozen shops on there so it’s very possible and easy to get back on.

You’re going about this all the wrong way. You don’t need public WiFi and you either aren’t resetting your modem correctly or the ip you bought you aren’t connected to as you should be able to easily change your IP in the states.

will get all your account linked (same IP).

It will be a suspicious connection which might cause some red flag

Think about it....since it's open and PUBLIC, chances are very strong that other people have used it. Think about what Etsy or any other service will think if they see many accounts accessing their services using the public IP....

Agreed, icarletto and rsot. Plus, honestly, why would you even want to subject yourself to that type of inconvenience of using public wifi? How can you feasibly run a business this way? But, as others said it'd fail before it even begins because of the fact it's an abused public hotspot.

Sucks man... i just got a permanent ban from etsy 10 minutes ago. And i just upgraded my injection molder amd 3D printer and tghis happens. Fml.

Sorry to hear you got the boot as well. This may be off topic, but have you thought about a website instead or in the interim in case it takes a while to get back on etsy.
Also, have you thought about a Mifi? I am looking into them now. I am getting the stealth guide this week and hope there is some info in it about personal hot spots. good luck!

They are back on selling, have been actually.

Now everyone should always looking into websites and other venues, spread the eggs vs keeping them in one basket.
