Etsy and a dedicated fresh ip?
 

Hello and good day to all.

Like many of you here my Etsy accound was suspended. I have new information (Bank, Email, computer user account, Etc...). I also purchased a dedicated fresh ip from 24vc. However when i go to register a new account it seems that Etsy knows that im using a vpn provider and wont accept the info. I tried my theory out and i was correct. I tested my banned ip address and it will accept the information with no problem. However when i use the dedicted ip address the system (Etsy) will not accept the information.

Any advise or thoughts on this situation would be glady appreciated.

Also if you are in the US as your flag says, why not just restart your router to get a new IP?

I had a problem with 24vc on etsy once. When I logged in from my fresh IP etsy wouldn't even load, I just got a white page.

1.There is no error message... The page loads however the information will no accept/enter into the system...
2.I wanted to be able to manage my IP so i decided to go with a dedicated fresh ip.

What is etsy doing that they have a way of stoping/knowing that im using a vpn?

So it wont accept the info you entered in the last step of signing up as a seller?

And you get an error message saying something like we couldn't verify your info?

On the first register page where you enter your first name and email address etsy will not accept the information using a vpn.... but when I try my regular IP address it works with no problem....

there is no error message at all...the page just refreshes

You should contact 24vc with this issue.

I did and they stated that I am the only one having this problem... I'm also waiting for a response back from them. Until then do you think I should use a different web browser?

I also recently contacted a VPN provider and they told me VPN would not work with buying and selling sites. For some reason I told them eb,ay lol but it's e.t.sy I am using for of course. I guess they detect it somehow.

VPNs have nothing to do with the problems of setting up shops.

What country is the VPN from?

I'm using 24vc.... and the up address is usa based

As I said, I had a problem with etsy and 24vc once. Etsy website would show me a white page. When they changed my IP at 24vc the problem was gone. Maybe you wanna send the User 123 a message. I think 24vc is his venutre. He'll be able to help.

Not a soul on this website would have shops without tethering, VPN/VPS and dongles. Abused VPN's will flag you, but dedicated VPN's and other methods aren't going to link you and shut you down.

I opened an account with nordvpn and I have my etsy stealth store without problem. I was able to do all the steps step by step and everything went well.

The issue with the 24VC wasn't resolved, but they got their IP situation sorted.

Given what you've told me IPBurger isn't the reason you can't get the store to work.

I change PC & i change email address
I restart the router i get the same problm
The problm is in the ip

You are attempting to use a region that is Direct Checkout, or was, and what you're doing will lead you to a blank screen every single time.

Maybe E , T .S)Y baned the IP? I also have the same problem, after filling in the form, click the registration button, the page does not load at all. But it work when I change another IP

Technically speaking.....Etsy doesn't or can't ban an IP, IP's are sometimes recycled and it would make no sense for any company to outright ban a single IP. That being said, some IP Pools from certain providers are blacklisted, most are from these so called free VPN's, and so on.

I'm having the same problem. I am using VMware with a Fresh IP and Etsy won't even let me register an account.

Hi, i have the same problem now too.
I purchased PIA vpn. I change my IP to finland, then i fill name, email, password on the registering form, click to register and page only refresh, it does not open the registration to continue. When i try another country, it works.

Hi All, sorry to bring up such an old thread, but was wondering if anybody has got the registration page to work using a fresh IP? I just got an IPBurger account and unfortunately am experiencing the same issues. I was thinking about trying it out on 24vc, but don't know if the issue has been fixed or a workaround has was figured out. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Etsy lately is notorious to Datacenter IPs, i suggest you get Residential IPs instead.
