Please help
 

I created two stealth etsy accounts. So far they are running well.
I have two different Wifi's (totally different than the banned ones). I accidentally clicked onto the wrong wifi will logged into another etsy and quickly got off that wifi. I would say I was on the wifi for about 1 second maybe 2 if I am stretching it.

I WAS ON ACCOUNT 1 AND ON VIKING WIFI. I WALKED AWAY FOR A LITTLE BIT AND FORGOT ON WAS ON THAT WIFI. I ACCIDENTLY HIT MADMEN WIFI BUT QUICKLY SHUT IT OFF. I DID IT WITHIN 1 or 2 SECONDS.

DURING THIS TIME MY ETSY ACCOUNT 1 HAD A BUNCH OF WINDOWNS OPEN ESPN, NEWS, WEATHER ETC.. ETC.

I NEVER CLICKED ON ETSY WHILE ON THE WRONG WIFI (MADMEN) AND AGAIN CLICKED OFF THAT WIFI WITHIN 1 to 2 SECONDS.

COULD I BE LINKED? I DON'T THINK SO, BUT JUST WANTED TO CHECK.

Welcome to the forums. I time is unlikely to cause too much of an issue. Avoid repeating this mistake moving.

Also avoiding typing in capitals - kind of weird

IP alone typically won't get you shut down.

Probably nothing will happen, but you should be using different user accounts and you should set the wifi so you have to manually hook up to it after you change accounts.

Once you get in this habit it will help keep this from happening.

I just had 2 new accounts shut down based on IP ... :ahhhhhh:

Account A IP 205.79.311.111
Account B IP 205.79.311.11

Didn't see it when I opened the second account. Looks like even similarities can get your accounts linked, especially when they r new.

I got about 10 etsy accounts all of them work flawless, so I don't think I made a mistake when creating the accounts. These two accounts were created shortly after another and they got banned at the same time. So I am pretty darn sure it was the IP can't say it for 100% tho as I didn't get a suspension email.

I sent them an email tho and asked, but it wasn't answered yet. Ill keep u posted IF I get a reply.

If they were created back to back and the IP's were the same, well yeah they'd be linked. That's why I said typically a slip in an IP won't get you banned. You have a few stores going, accidentally use the wrong IP to log in or browse, it won't in most cases get you shut down. You make new shops with the same IP that get tossed? All are going down.

Indeed you are right, I was talking about a different prob :)
