 US Etsy-digital content-NEED NEW SHOP
I made another thread but really didn't get any replies so I am going to try again with more info. It seems that a lot of posters here may not actually be from the US so their results might not apply to me.
So I am in the US (Oklahoma). I had 2 very successful shops on Etsy. Shop #1 for two years and Shop #2 for almost one year. In Shop #1 I sold custom shirts. Shop #2 is cut files for use with die cutting machines (think Cameo or Cricut).
Shop #1 (shirts) got so busy I couldn't keep up. I had a string of unhappy customers which resulted in around 5 low reviews and about 10 cases. I put my shop on Vacation mode to catch up and was permanently suspended. Since I had multiple shops they suspended both. I tried to appeal with Etsy but they wouldn't budge. Honestly, I don't think they even read your appeals bc you get a boxed reply.
I really want to sell cut files again.
I got a brand new modem from AT&T, my internet provider, and the installer said that would change my IP address.
I am getting a new bank account later today.
Can I open a new shop?
Do I have to use a completely different name, address, business name?
Do I need to make all new product photos? (mine are all digital items)
Do I need to create new files? I put everything in a .zip folder for upload to Etsy and when the customer buys they have immediate access to the download.
What about using the Etsy app from my phone? Will that cause issues? Will Etsy link the new store to the old suspended one if I log in from my phone?
I think that is all, sorry it's so long. I just don't want to miss a step and ruin my chances.
