Etsy not letting me register with a VM + 24vc?
 

I am trying to make an Etsy stealth account and am using VMware with 24vc Fresh IP. I admit I am not technologically savvy but I'm trying to learn stealth.

The notice I get is...

"Sorry! There was a problem on our end. Please try registering again or email support@etsy.com for assistance."

I can't even register a buyer account. Can they still link me to my old account somehow or is there possibly a glitch registering on Etsy? I am going to try again later but was wondering if others have come across this problem.

1)Don't use Chrome, try Firefox browser.
2) Contact the 24VC Support and tell your issue.
3) Request an IP change. It may solve your problem. Maybe your current IP is the problem.

I did use Firefox. I am on Windows 7 on the VM so maybe the operating system is just too old? I have yet to contact 24vc... I will do that if the issue is ongoing. Thanks for the advice.

VM isn't necessary for ets.sy stealth (and maybe VM you are using is the problem). Just create a new user account on windows. And don't keep your product folders on pc. Keep them on cloud storage.

I've had this same issue with 24vc lately. Ive used them several times in the past with no problems and those accounts are still running but it seems to be blocked now for new accounts. I switched over to cell tethering and it's back to no issues so just give that a shot. Also you really don't need VMware for Etsy a new user is enough.

This isn't needed, it's a waste of time and energy.

What do you think, is it still worth to buy a dedicated IP address from 24VC?

Had the same issue last night with a different vpn (NordVpn)

I'm assuming the reason I was prompted with the Upload ID error message was because my location I was registering was not the same as where my VPN location was?

Was using a US VPN location was roughly 200miles from mine

They always ask for ID if you're making an etsy payments account and the info isn't verifiable with public records. At least that's my experience. There are ways around tho.
