Hello,

I got banned on etsy and would like to open a new account using stealth techniques but I have few questions.

I am in the US do I need another SSN or I just can put my EIN which is different as I started another company.

Any help with this will be appreciated.

You cannot open any US based shops with an EIN, it’s impossible now.

Hi Gladiator

I'm new to this site. I just signed up, I've searched the net trying to find a solution on how to get back on etsy and came across this forum. I just got terminated for a false copyright claim from a competitor before i could event dispute the claim they terminated my account. I seen a post where you helped someone get back on etsy and I'd love for any advise you could help me with?

Gladiator, I need your help!

A very similar situation just happened to me this Monday and Etsy closed down all of my shops. I've been combing the internet all week trying to get back on. I've already setup a few new test accounts on Etsy using a trusted friend's info so I understand the technical side of getting back on. I just don't want them to have to bear the tax liability issues. They are also receiving child support and alimony so I don't want the court to see large sum of money going into their bank account every week. I think I can just give Etsy a new EIN number to get around the tax issue, correct? My only questions is, how do I get around the bank account issue. I figured I can open up a new business account with the new EIN but what do I do for the address verification? From all the posts I've searched through, I think Gladiator is the most knowledgeable on etsy issues so if you can PM me, that would be great. Thanks

I am planning to sell in esty. All will be hand made items bought from abroad asian counties.

Question: why esty migh suspend the account?

Gladiator, I need your help! I just opened a new US shop, but I input the wrong phone number, it seems that there is no place to update the phone number.. Does E.T.SY will verify the phone number, do they call this phone?? Thank you.

I have tried to sell handmade items on Etsy before but I bought them from a supplier, they banned me as someone recognized the items as not mine, Etsy says it has to be YOU who makes the item, you have to be able to make bespoke pieces etc - very annoying!
