Question about EIN
 

I plan on opening a new shop using a relative's info (with their blessing). If I'm using their last four of ssn at the start of setup, am I allow to use my own ein later on? For example, when you hit 20k or 200 transactions and E**y asks for more information like your full ssn, can I use a EIN and Business Name that belongs to me, business address being the same as the relative's. Is that safe? Will they link the new shop back to me? I don't want my relative getting stuck with the 1099K.

Don't use other people's info....unless they want your tax burden.
