Using stealth account BEFORE getting banned?
 

Most of the topics here are about opening a stealth account after a ban.

I've not been banned but want to start using a stealth account anyways, before a potential ban.

How would I go about knowing whether I've "succeeded" in opening a stealth account or not? Usually you'd know because the account either stays open or gets shut down, but in my case none of my images or info is linked to a banned account, so even if the links remain - I assume the stealth account would seem successful UNTIL it gets banned and I find out if my real account gets banned by linkage.

I want to avoid this happening obviously. I want to operate the stealth account completely unlinked with my real account, so that when it gets banned my real one remains usable.

Any tips welcome please!

You answered your own question. There's no way to know whether you did it right if your other account is operating fine. If one or the other goes down and the other lives - hey, you did it. If not...well.

Buy the stealth guide, follow it, don't cut corners, use the forum for guidance, job done. :thumb:

ok that's what I thought, thanks for confirming.

I want to PM you with my plan to create a stealth account (from the UK) but don't have enough post count yet. I don't want to post it here as I assume it's "secret"

what about new stealth accounts that get shut down almost immediately?

you mean you don't have a banned account, just opened a stealth account and it still got shut down?

is it because your IP is in a different country to where your etsy account details is. dunno, just guessing?

I just value my privacy never been banned.
