2 shops on same stealth info
 

I used to set up 2 shops per 1 stealth payment account on etsy. One shop sold one type of thing, and the other sold another type. the 2 are setup with the same info, so etsy knows they are owned by the same person.

In the etsy guidlines, it says to mention the other shop in your shop about me/story area if you have more than one shop. I do that and all is fine.

Just wondering if anyone has been dinged for NOT mentioning the other shop in the about me area?

These are older accounts, would not do it this way again in the future.

I believe the TOS covered this, and that it's okay, but the real pro on ETY issues is Gladiator.

I know someone who was banned for not mentioning it after they got hit with a copyright strike. During review of their shops they found it to be an issue and despite a single copyright hit got the boot for not following the other rules, it basically deemed them too risky.

So the violation of not joining if caught gets you a warning usually (I know this from experience) but another policy violation with it will get you banned.

If there is no debt in both stores, and have a good reputation, you should not worry.

Etsy can and will warn you over things like this. If anything else is off they can and will suspend you. It’s best to take care of minor things vs being lazy and ignoring it.

The shops are in good standing, and I follow stealth rules. Will keep them as they are.

My husbands shop was suspended so consequently my 3 shops were all closed. They were always separate and I sold different things on each. I still have one shop that they missed. I just realized I had it the other day. It was temporarily suspended for not having updated the etsy pay so I did and not the shop is open. I'm afraid to list anything but I will eventually give it a whirl.

I created a new account using new paypal, email, info etc and the account was suspended.. are they tracking my ip address? How do i get around this I need to sell and selling on etsy is much easier then on ebay? HELP please

Gladiator I cannot contact you or anyone on here because I am new.. is there anyway you can contact me? You seem like the etsy pro on here and I need to open a new account asap. I am willing to compensate for your help

Yes they are tracking IP's of course. With this setup you will be suspended over and over again. The ebay stealth guide covers most of these things. They can be applied onto etsy easily. It's not only the IP tho. You need everything new. Name, Address, email, Item Pictures and much more. Read the ebay guide before you do anything else.

As far as I know Gladiator isn't a member is this forum anymore.
