etsy shop suspended-can a spouse open one?
 

I had a shop for about 2 weeks, messing around and I sold items as supplies that were not handmade. They did not think they qualified as supplies. Anyway I sold like 5 of them and they shut my shop down. No biggie. Fast forward 6 months and I want to open up an Etsy selling handmade items(I have a really good idea) but I opened another shop and put one listing up and they suspended the account because it was linked to my other one. UGH!
Can my husband open a shop in his name?

You will get shut down if the address is the same.

Or lie with a bogus address. If his info gets burnt you have to get a lot more creative.

Ok do they see that the bank we use will have our address? to sign up for etsy payments?

E.sy will not respond to any emails about my shop being closed it is so frustrating!

Yeah, they don’t care sadly. There’s really no way to get their attention. Just a bunch of scumbags.
