Banned from Et/sy / legit account question
 

Hey guys!

Really glad to have stumbled across this forum. I have a question relating to the stealth Et/sy in the UK. Hoping I can get some advice from you all.

I received the banhammer recently (DMCA's...yay). I don't dispute Et-sy's decision but after 4 years over 5k sales and 100's of 5 star reviews, I'd somehow like to keep Etsy as a revenue stream. I'm researching the forum and looking into the stealth approach.

My question is - My friend was running a fairly successful Et/sy store up until recently. She had to step back from it due to her full time work commitments but she offered the store to me to takeover as she didn't want it to go to waste (which was super kind of her, she makes enough money now anyways).

This all happened before my ban. I'd like to get on and use that store and continue the work she started (it was legit handmade) but I'm afraid that as soon as I log in, it'll get flagged for suspension due to my IP. I have a VPN in place - so would I be correct in thinking I can log in without any issues?

Also, If I were to start using this legit store, I would best avoid using my burned bank acc details, right? Should I update the card details with a VCC?

Thanks in advance to anyone whose got a moment to help me (and apologies if this question has been brought up - I'm still sifting through all the info on here :lol:)

Does your friend want your income reported on your credit? Cause that's what is going to happen.

It's not a good idea to use someones account and sell with it. She might be making a ton of money now but in 2 years things may look different. If you messed up her account by then she'll just hate you for the rest of her life (except she's a member on this forum by then).

What Gladiator is trying to tell you is: you and your friend will be better off, if you start a new account with 100% stealth info. Reads the forums, study stealth bible (I know it's about ebay, but the basics can easily be applied on etsy).
