How do you get around ssn requirement for etsy stealth accounts?
 

Usa etsy accounts require ssn, how do we bypass that for stealth creation.

What's a way so I can get back on selling again?

What does that mean? I’m forever banned?

It just means that you can't open a stealth account with banned/used/⊗⊗⊗⊗ ssn.

Option 2: read the etsy section of this forum carefully and use the search function.

Nope, it's not the end of the world. Just do a little research and you should find out how to create a stealth one (of course without ssn).

Search the forums I got lots of great info. I wrote a detail post on steps I did. I ended up using the 4 of my social with a name variation. I’m assuming I passed security as I answered the 3 questions. I intend to use a EIN if I go over in sales later on.

SSN is a must. If you're not that willing to provide such information, then sell somewhere else.

An EIN but if you buy any info then good luck getting any help after the fact if you run into any problems

Um, I asked my sister to use her s.s and never had a promblem for over a year.
We both signed a form that she allowed it and made it all legit.

It's not a problem per se, but at the end she will be responsible for those taxes. As long as the taxes are paid, there should not be any issue.

Why you guys want a USA account? i have made over 30 accounts from other countrys and good without problems

In my experience, direct checkout accounts usually sells a little more that only paypal accounts, but you will have the SSN issue.
I dont know what happens if you are not from the US and open an US account with all stealth info. Then if the IRS email comes, for you to change the ssn (again) I dont know what happens if you dont send anything or send another stealth one.
That's why everyone would prefer a US account, I think.

Could you tell us a little more on what you do to keep those opened accounts? I mean how you pay bills, what payment option do you offer, etc.

Im from Nicaragua, and i make the accounts from Nicaragua, they dont require SNN, i just add a new email to Paypal and use that email for the new Etsy Stealth Account, and im ready to go..

Now if you feel US accounts sale a little more, I just put that i ship from USA and the results are the same. When people like your products, payments are not an issue. Having in mind that you have good reviews.

About paying my bills. i just select payment options Paypal and pay with the email i have on Etsy.

I have been making accounts for long terms and this is not a problem.

Do you have a personal or business PP account?
Does E**y see the business name or just the e-mail adress?

They just see the email address.
