Signing up using an EIN hasn't worked in years.

Hi,

Any help I can get is appreciated.

I would like some help setting up a new etsy account.

I have never made a stealth account.

I had an etsy account for 8 years... 1 item that was not made by my shop was flagged twice and my shop got permanently shut down .... I had over 4000 sales, 1000 positive reviews - 99.9% positive reviews.

My account has been suspended since September 2017. I have appealed and appealed and appealed but NOTHING. I have finally decided that it's time to open a new account but I don't want to do anything the wrong way... I don't want to open one and get suspended because of a dumb little mistake that I can avoid.

I have an alternate address, I can use my husbands name... I can open a new bank account... I purchased a new router/modem.... Should I purchase a new laptop dedicated to etsy?

Before I sign up for a new account with etsy, do you have any suggestions for me? I have never ever signed up for a stealth account of any sort in the past at all, I am a newbie.

I have signed up and been paying for Stealth for over 6 months now but just finally today I realized that I needed to register for the forums to be able to use them.

Thank you in advance!

Send me a private message so I can reply with my email - I was not able to send a private message because I am so new to the forums I guess

Welcome to the forum!

You don't need a new laptop. Creating a new user account on your current laptop will be fine.

Don't use any old info on your new account. Everything must be new and unused.

Once you open a shop, don't list more than 5-10 items a day. Otherwise Etsy bot may flag you.

Good Luck!

Appeals will do nothing in 99% of cases. If it’s not an early shutdown request for photos or to answer their questions they rarely will give a shop back as they don’t care.

You don’t need a new computer.

If you have the receipt, return the modem and router. You don’t need to change those either.

No need to burn other info.

I'm looking to get back on Et/sy as well! Same boat. 5000+ sales, positive reviews. Booted for using "Tiff Blue" in my item description.
