143 in Successful Legit sales in 27 days - Got banned - What is my option?
 

Hey guys... New to the forum... I'm new to this I'm researching and hope someone can help.
-I had a legit store... selling legit products...
-Got reported due to haters because I was killing it with gadget accessories... whatever. I raised $1800 of pure profit quickly. Got banned because I slipped on a single item. I fought it for the past week and got the nasty "Permanently banned" email.

My question is...
-As a USA seller... How do I bypass the SSN. I'll get flagged asap...
-I will get a VPN from another country.... most likely China IP based.
-Will wipe computer clean.
-I'll create a new bank if I have to... Which I dont understand as it will still be based on my name...
-Has anyone done this successfully? I learned from exactly what my mistake was... Just need another chance at cracking this.

Sorry to tell you but your thinking of this situation is all wrong.
Pretty sure there was no 'hater' involved in this situation. You sold a LOT in the first month of operation - surprised it took them that long to shut you down. Accumulating $1800 in under a month would have meant that paypal easily projected that youll reach well over $20k in the year and an EIN request would have been inevitable regardless.
To answer some of your questions. There is no bypassing a request for SSN. If the request is due to a limitation then then account is done. If the request is due to reaching the annual $20k limit you can provide an EIN - and then pay your taxes.
Youre flag is US - why would you need a China VPN to un a US based account...? that makes no sense.
No need to wipe the computer. A new windows user account will serve just as well.
A new bank account will be essential and is a non issue since paypal cannot see the name of the bank account holder. Just be sure the bank itself doesn't have an issue with deposits being made from mismatching names.
And yes plenty of people have done it and do it regularly with success. Just need to know what youre doing - and you do not at this point. And I assure you you still don't know what your actual mistakes were.
Get the stealth guide and start learning how to do things properly and them continue learning by researching the forums.

... Most of my transactions were 100% direct check out. I don't think I had any paypal orders come through. So if my understanding is correct.... I can still operate under a new account name... I just need a different bank. I just don't understand how I can create a new account under the same social security number. I can't put a different name on that without it being flagged.... Also isn't that illegal? Also, someone on reddit saw my store and posted it to have a bunch of users report my store. I guess you can say my store was "overwatched" and flagged by the community report. I do have a bank account that was never tied to etsy.... I will give that a go but we'll see how it works out.

Problem is you were only running 1 account, and you took it too much money very quickly.

Also if anyone has a DIY thread or if there's a step by step I'd need to purchase... I don't mind... I had an amazing product that was making a killing. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it very very much!

I believe there's some confusion here, some people are talking about Paypal/Ebay and the OP actually was talking about Etsy which is different.

I see this for ebay. But am not seeing anything for Etsy. Do the same rules apply?

I'm guessing you were shut down because of copyright infringement, I would read the stealth guide for ebay anyway as a lot of principles apply to etsy as well.
