Etsy listings per day
 

Hi to all lovely users!

I'm planning to open a new Etsy shop. I will access to the shop via mobile tethering (never used before), new email, new paypal email, new name etc.

I just wanted to ask, can I list 20 items a day? I'm planning to list 20 items a day
for the next 1.4-1.5 years.

Or should I stick to 10 listing per day?

Did your old shop got suspended?

I read this from another forum

Be careful, don’t add more than 5 listings in a single day. You can even skip adding listing for some days. Have patience in this, your listing must not exceed more that 30 in last 12 days as you are acting as a new seller, not the one who knows everything about selling on Etsy.

I go for no more than per 5 day to be sure. Take it slow.

After 2-3 month you can go with more.

Make sure you have new pics too.

On top of that: 20 items per day for the next 1.5 years???? That's about 11k items.

Open a couple of accounts and split your listings and income between a few shops rather than depending on a single shop. This way if one were to go down you will have back ups already up and running.

HAHlala - Splitting listings up between shops means have different items for sale in the 2 shops, is this not correct ?

My aim is for 5-10 listings for first 6 months of shop open, then 20+ listings per month after this

Well, for me I have 2 particular stealth etsy shops that sell the same things but with slightly different images and means I can split listings between the 2 but still get the same amount (if not more) sales than with 1.

But 5-10 listings a day would be ok I think, but I think definitely in the first few weeks build up slowly though a few listings a day for the first week and get some positive feedback before you start adding more listings daily.

Umm my numbers are totally different. I list like 3 items when I open a store, 3 items the next day then 5, 8, 10, 15 and after a week 20 each day. No problems.

How long does it usually take for etsy to realize who you are before they shut you down again?

That's like asking how long is a piece of string.

It depends on so many factors. How you use the account, how you made the account, etc.

In my opinion, if you don’t have the same details at all nor the ip, wifi and exact listings, there’s no way they can ‘link’ you to previous accounts.

If you sell copyrighted items, or copy listings for the same item you’re selling, you’ve got 2 months tops if that’s what it’s asked.
