Hello everyone, :clap:

I am selling accessories and tshirts on Etsy. I see lots of shop using logos of PC games on their products.
For instance, they use the logo of ''The Witcher'' or ''Counter Strike''. And they press pictures of game characters on tshirts.
I am also creating some accessories as these people do. But recently I've realized that these logos and pictures are protected by copyrights.
I simply had no idea.:shocked: I am concerned if those companies could sue me because what I do is illegal.:eek:

But lots of people still doing it, and Etsy also allows those shops.
I got 5 warning at my first year but, for 2 years, I didn't get any warns. My shop didn't shut down.

I really want to continue my shop on Etsy, but I am scared if I am imposed fines because of copyrights.:shocked:

What are you guys thinking about this issue?
Do you have a similar shop?

I would stay away from any infringements even if everyone else is doing it. I've personally seen shops shut down due to too many strikes.

Lot of people doing copyright infringement does not make it right, sad to say

If you want to take a bath in c&d letters and pay lots of your hard earned $$$ to law firms, go ahead. Germany is probably the worst place to be on earth if you want to sell stuff like that.
