If I set up an etsy shop in Canada using a Canadian VPN will they ask for ID? I need to set up a stealth shop, I have two shops in USA but they are in danger from trademark issues.

They'll asking for verify an ID first time . Once you passed verification then you good to go .

How are you going to get your money deposited into an account that doesn't match the name you are using? I'm assuming you are using Canada because you don't need a social, correct?

depends on the bank,some like Chase will reject the deposits.
