Etsy New Payment System ISSUE !
 

So Etsy has updated most of existing accounts to a new payment system, in which they deduct fees automatically from each order without you having to pay yourself.

The problem is that when i click to "payment info", they is a warning in a line saying "We were unable to charge your card ending in XXXX."

My question is; is it required to update the card info? I am just confused as to why they are trying to charge the card if they deduct fees from my balance and I don't owe them any money.

Is it safe to add another card? The account is stealth, US based DC store.

You need to read all the Etsy discussions on their forum site as this will give u good information. Lots of the new payments threads

Quick question, is it safe to change the store name?

The reason I ask is that if i get EIN request, will my company's name on EIN have to be the same as the Etsy's shop name? For example, if my shop's name is "JohnShirts" but my company's name on EIN is "Yasav LLC"?

If it's just the shop name there is no need to change it. Shop name can be an alias.
