Problem with impression and clicks on Etsy promotions.
 

Hi Etsy sellers, 2 days ago I started etsy promotion on one my products, but 2 days i don't have any impression or click on this products. Keywords is not small and is popular for etsy they have together have more of 150k month view. Etsy promotion on automation and gave me 0.05 before one day i change on manual and put 0.1 $ but is same, again I dont have any impresion or click.

I never quite understood how people manage to get impressions with 0.05$ clicks on etsy. I know it works on other platforms but on etsy i never got it right. I ended up spending as high as 5$ PER CLICK for a 25$ product- sounds like a bad business right? Not with stealth accounts :nono: only that way i could manage an extra 10 sales a day. I also need to mention, if it’s on auto in goes higher the more orders you get from those clicks. That’s how it ended up that high per click.

Can you give me some advice? If i put manual bit 0.5 cent per click will something change? Or you thinks is problem on my keywords?

No is new products, i start promotions in same time when i put products on my etsy listing.
I increased to manual at $0.45 and again the same!

Is it on a new account?, usually when you set up a new ETSY they make all your products invisible for 24hrs whilst they check you out. If this isn't the case then I would look into your titles and tags, look at competition and see whos ranking high and try and improve on their tags and so on. Marmalead shows you what tags and keywords are driving traffic (I dont use it personally but it is meant to be helpful..).

If your items are not attracting viewers before paid promotion they tend to not to do well either way. I would try and work on the basic SEO of your listings, Im sure you will find some luck and sales after that.

Auto purchase 100 items,
make it popular, and you will rank and get tons of traffic and without paying ads.

No, my account is not new i have 10 sales, and profile is 2 ear ago
but finally I have 6 impressions :)
I really can not understand Etsy algorithm.

Okay, 10 sales is still a pretty fresh account. I would still advise you to work on your SEO. Just do some research, watch a few videos and educate yourself as best as possible, also make your listings and shop look trust worthy. A good Bio, A little bit of branding and a basic TOS info will make you look like a reputable seller even without 1000's of reviews. I would not worry about paid promotion just yet just get your basics down first :thumb:. Good luck!

At least give it a week and see what happens with current tags titles(SEO)
They suggest 2 months to wait for full SEO to take effect but who has 2 months?

Use etsy rank they will give you some insight.
My shops snowball slow but after one month from opening all of them are doing 10 sales/ day.

Yes, thats true. Im just going off the fact this guy said he's had his shop 2 years and has 10 sales. There has to be something wrong with his listings. Its either for unpopular niche items or just bad SEO. Nothing abit of research wont fix for him.

My niche is for medicine. This niche is not a broad niche but is very targeted, I have 2 sales for a couple products clicks.
The shop I have 2 years but, before a couple of days, I have started working on my shops and put products. So for 1 week, I have 3 sales, what is good for me.
I read some advance and I have a strategy for put on etsy promotion 1 week and I get a better ranking for products on keywords rang. I tested this strategy and it works very well.

What I wrote is that I tried to test a more popular products custom necklace and, I think my product is a winner, but I can not get impressions and it frightens me frightfully :)

After a couple of days, I tested several scenarios. I try promoted with automation bit and I don't get any impression, I try promoted with 0.25 and result is same.
In the end, I have good results with a suggestion from you guys and put a manual bid on 0.50 cent and finally, I have 100 impressions. So finally Etsy works on more money for viral products and we must put more money for promotion if we like to have a good result. I'm expecting more ads going to be optimized. What is your opinion?
And only one question!
About keywords monthly views. How much monthly views is to have one keyword to be a good keyword? More of 10k less or more?

I am really disappointed with this forum, if there are general stories there are also answers, but when the relevant question is posed, nobody responds to it! But I found the place where I got the answers to my dilemmas. The only thing left for me to thank you for what you answered and to greet you :) I really wanted to share with you what I learned.
Although I am troubled when I see how selfish you are when you are about to answer the exact question.
And even if I'm not angry with you, I'm just so sick that you are.

What so you mean by "autho purchase"?

As far as I'm concerned, renewing is the same as purchasing. Both pushes that item onto the most recent searches, and if its done at the right time of day it usually gets results.

Yep. Etsy likes active store owners. Test it yourself, it's fairly common knowledge. Also if you do a search, then list in order of "most recent" you see all the 1.just bought, 2.just listed and 3. just renewed items all on the first page.
