how to block a toxic person on etsy from viewing ur stuff and PM you?
 

Guys i have a weird lady on etsy who keeps messaging me about: you shouldnt sell here from your country, you sell non legit stuff (all my stuff is legit and handmade btw), people like you should be kicked out of american websites and etc.:doh:

obviously some weird person who doesnt have any work to do.
or just being racist.
i've seen her before. she reported few of my listings claiming that she owns them (false DMCA report) I did counter reports and got my listings restored.
Now she seems like getting angry and writing stuff like this.
I reported her to Etsy but didnt get any results :bump:
I can ignore her, (thats what i was doing last week) but she keeps writing and threatening me with some random nonsense :pop2:
Thankfully she never bought anything from me =D
I dont give a damn about her being racist or anything. i simply dont care! but its annoying since i get messages and i think its from my customer and when i reach my pc, i find out that its her again.


Any ideas? how can i stop this? or blacklist this person like on ebay?

I'd keep ignoring her. Eventually she'll get tired of contacting you.

Possibly but unlikely. I have very high prices on my items. i don't get too much of sales in month but as they are expensive i can compensate it. Thats why i usually don't have any competitors in my price range.

Also, when in past she reported a false DMCA i made a counter notice and restored my listings (cos she never responded to my counter notice)
So, does it means that strike that i got from Etsy for false DMCA notice, is also has been removed?

Thank you guys, i did blocked her. It seems it helped.
Also marked the conversation as spam several times and got a message from etsy for the next day:
Etsy Deemed this conv. as spam and moved it to your spam folder.
Does it means Etsy manually reviewed it and finally did some action?

there is no way to block someone from viewing your items,unless you deactivate the items.

could be a scammer!
I have encountered more scams on ETSY than Ebay+AMZN + other sites combined in a relatively short period from both buyers and sellers?
Sellers would never ship (gold items) or ship copper coin after carrying a phone conversation,by the time you finally file dispute,they have use of your money for weeks.
Buyers will hack into Etsy member accounts and use their credit cards to make purchase and ask you to ship to their 'mother',girlfriend,pizza parlor,etc,some are coming from overseas.
ETSY does not have phone customer service

Maybe, might be wise for OP keep an eye for purchases from them.

Harassment messages I got on Ebay just made me assume a competitor freaking out another big dog was in town.

I know about this scam type. When they say like: I'm Klingon/Vulcan/Cardassian working on Earth and i want you to send your item to my nephew in Cronos/Vulcan/Cardassia Prime, and offer you to make payment outside of Etsy/Ebay/Amazon and etc.

But in my case she never hinted anything that she wants to purchase from me. she was just messaging me some bull*hit stuff all the time and always claiming that the items that i sell does not belong to me or not handmade =D

I just clicked block in her profile. I dunno did it blocked her from making purchases from me or just messaging me
