Etsy Suspension - help
 
Hello guys, at the moment i'm literally shocked. I've got suspended today on Etsy, something similar of copyright, or just etsy's policy. Whatever sh*t happens, on my payment page(available deposit etc.) it says "Your shop is suspended due to lack of payment. To reactivate it, make a payment below.
"

The most hurting part is that I have on my current balance 2,200EUR.
I had 200 eur on my available deposit now 0.00EUR. Why they took my money what would happen with my current balance, please help. Should I write ticket on etsy for Account suspension ( reopening ).

Will appreciate each help guys!:help::help:

If you don't pay your monthly fees, you'll be suspended. Now, pay your fees
and then contact Etsy if your shop is not automatically reopened. In the future, pay your fees on time. Paying fees on time is a factor in your overall score as a seller and it affects your ranking.

ETSY HAS changed its policy,it takes its fee from your customer payment,it does not wait till end of the month to bill u.
so the mrssage may not apply to his situation if it is copyright violation,
have you shipped your items?

They are digital, no shipping needed. Etsy's policies/copyright surely.

Yesterday I sent them support ticket. There is a part of their mail sent to me yesterday:
"Please note that while your account is suspended, you will be unable to access your account through the Sell on Etsy app or a mobile browser.

In accordance with our policies, we've found it necessary to delay disbursements from your payment account until September 20, 2019. The delay will be lifted, and the remaining balance in your payment account will be deposited into your bank account after the 180 days.

Holding these funds ensures there will be money to issue a refund on your behalf, should that be a necessary resolution for unresolved concerns in your shop "

I do no not have any issues with fees, I paid them automatically also I have validated bank account attached.

They're talking about refunds while I tried literally seconds ago to refund one buyer and it says "Uh oh!
Your account privileges have been suspended ":noidea:

Ignore this "shop deactivated due to lack of payment" message. Its always there, regardless the reason of your suspension.

Your money will be released after 6 months automatically, you don't need to do anything.

Have you received any letter from etsy before the suspension or it was without any notification? Was the letter you got after you opened a ticket something like "based on the inconsistencies" etc?

Hello thank you for the answer.

i didn't even receive any previous notification from Etsy. As I see on the etsy discussion, one person received 2-3 warnings for copyright, i didn't get it.
I wrote yesterday ticket to etsy to understand what we can do about that, but i do not expect anything by them, still waiting answer. If you want I can send you image of their mail which is sent to me.

you sell digital goods,possible copy right infringement and ETSY is holding your fund for 180 days in case your buyer files a chargeback or dispute of item not received.
selling digital goods,you do not have online viewable tracking from commercial carrier showing it has been delivered.

Alright sir. Yeah in case of any refunds, but one buyer wanted refund, tried to issue refund but it says that i lost my seller privileges, so i can't do the refund.
To they have the rights to remove all of my current balance? Because this is serious amount of money and i will wait 180 days till release.

no,you cannot refund your buyer since Etsy has decided to hold on to it for 180 days.
the only way your buyer can get his money back is to go to his cc issuer and file a chargeback,BUT you said you sell digital goods,so have you delivered the goods,if you have,why is he asking to cancel the order?

I dont understand why venues like Ebay ,AMZN,Etsy will allow anyone selling digital goods,bitcoins,mining contracts and Paypal used as a payment method?
Someone should set up a separate venue for such goods and services and use a different method to prove delivery of services and goods instead of tracking from commercial carrier?
some sellers would send a thank you card or a piece of candy via USPS first class with tracking.cost is less than $3 domestic

Exactly, and especially to provide tracking information, i'm not scamming or something like that, just doing the things very well.

Support answered me, the same email like the first one, the only different is that now the text is bold :D

One sentence of the mail: "In the event this occurs, you will owe Etsy all accrued debts. To prevent refunds from being issued on your behalf, we suggest you either add tracking information to your orders or issue refunds for unshipped orders."

this is assuming you are selling physical goods and you can refund your buyer.
they do respond quickly so why not ask them how can you refund if etsy has locked up your money?

I'm just waiting buyer to open a case and just issue the refund, personally no sense to ask, even it says that i dont have privileges for refund I refunded already one, its just bug i think.

I just hope they won't "remove" my balace over there. :nono:
