New stealth account - IP question
 

Sorry for the long post but I'm wondering if someone can tell me which IP addresses Et*y tracks.

I opened my stealth account at the beginning of March and have been using a new sim card to tether internet connection to my computer.

Initially, I was keeping a list of my IP addresses but it got too long so I stopped. I've noticed the sim card uses 3 different IP ranges i.e. 121.xxx.xxx.xxx, 67.xxx.xxx.xxx and 126.xxx.xxx.xxx. When I connect now I always make sure it is on the range I used when I first signed up.

I can't recall where it was but somewhere within my account settings it showed the IP addresses and locations I had logged in to my account with, but it only showed the ones I had used to actually log in and not just view the website. So if I had logged in with 121.23.12.123 but later browsed with 121.34.245.67 it only listed the location and operating system for IP address 121.23.12.123. I don't log out of my account so it only

Does this mean that they only track actual logins and not your browsing? I've clicked on links by mistake when connected to my wifi which is associated with my banned account and been scared that it would link me but fingers crossed touch wood, the account is still going.

I'm just wondering if I can stop panicking every time I make that mistake or if it's likely that they track every move.

I wish I could remember where in my account it showed the IP history. If anybody knows please let me know as I'd like to take another look.

Also, the fact that my IP address is different every time I'm on the site is that a problem? I was hoping the sim card would use the same IP but it changes randomly throughout the day.

There's nothing to worry.
As long as you're within the same range of subnet. You're still good!

Do you know if it tracks the IP address you use while browsing? So if I've opened the Etsy website while connected to my old IP address can they see that?

Not really sure if it makes a difference between the browsing and logging-in.
But i'm sure that they log the IPs you use for logging-in the account.

Yes, I've seen the list of addresses that I logged in from.

Ok, I'm going to just have to be more careful or hurry up and change my ISP.
