Banned Etsy Account - Longed in with IP Address
 

Hi all!

I had my Etsy account suspended a year or two ago. About 6 months ago I setup a new one with new details and logging in using a VPN.

I added just a few products and waited. Nothing got closed down so I recently decided to start adding more products to try and get back to where I was.

Things a going well but I accidentally STUPIDLY forgot to turn on my VPN this morning when logging in.

I instantly realised and logged out. I've checked the security section on Etsy and the IP address from my suspended account has been logged.

My question is, do you think this one log in will flag my account and I'm screwed?

Only time will tell, Tom.

There isn't nearly as much information about Etsy here as their are other platforms so I don't think you're going to find a definitive answer.

Yes has flagged for sure if it comes to manual review they will consider it

I bought it from ipburger and use Pritunl.

Thanks for the replies, if a month passes do you think I got away with it?

I don't want to put loads of work into for it to get closed again. Etsy are bloody harsh, lost my salary overnight when it happened. Gave me a wake-up call so I've really built my website since but the extra cash from Etsy is nice.
