I tried all the stealth tricks to get back on Etsy and got suspended when it went to verify account. I don't get it. I created a new user id, email, changed ip, new bank account, my friends name, address and phone (nearby and with her permission). I used a different name on the bank account but it said here that names on banks don't matter. I'm at my wits end. I had a successful vintage shop on etsy and now I'm banned because something I sold wasn't 20 years old! I sell used fur coats! Please help! I don't want to do Ebay as there's too much competition for vintage.

Did you use a VCC? Were you using a clean browser and how did you change your IP?

I didn't get to the point of needing the VCC. It shut me down at the id verification.
I changed my ip address and created a new user id

I changed my ip address by unplugging my router. I know the address changed as I used "what's my ip address and it was different.

I also changed the internal ip address on my tablet by one number.

you need fresh ip, not from you router "unplugging"

The stealth guide said I could just change my ip address by unplugging. It did create a new address as I kept track of the old one. Why wouldn't that work?

yep. you get "new" address, but are you sure what this "new" IP you are not get in past then you use banned account?

I don't see how. I created a new user id as well, which shouldn't be able to link anything. I had a new address, new bank account , new phone, new email and new pictures. It set up the store fine until I got to the bank verification. Then it shut me down,

Usually if they're asking for ID verification it means that the address/birthday you used doesn't match the persons name you used. So maybe your friend hasn't updated their information to the new address. As they do check against some database.

So unless you get a copy of your friends ID. The account is toast, or you have to pay $30 for a new ID.

I had no idea the birthdate had to match. It doesn't say that in the stealth guide. My friend didn't want me using her real birthdate and I don't blame her. Here in Canada Etsy doesn't require picture id. If that's the case I don't know how to use anyone else's name and address as I couldn't ask them for permission to use their birthdate. This is very disappointing.
How is it possible to get a real identity then?

Try to made PayPal only shop

You need Mexican IP
- buy ready VPN
or
- buy a VPS which is located in Mexico and find at freelance or fivver admin who will set up VPN there (my favorite option)
- Sing up on etsy shop in Mexico and link your paypal there for receiving payments, if Paypal account is registered on email that the etsy has already banned, then you can add an additional email to your account (up to 6 of additional emails = up to 6 of Mexican stores :heh: )
- In a month or 2 months, you can change your address to Canadian on etsy, your store will still remain paypal only mode

Hey dude thanks for the insights :) i guess you have opened multiple accounts with this method, have you ever been banned?
can you also better explain when you say "buy a VPS which is located in Mexico and find at freelance or fivver admin who will set up VPN there"? i have not quite understood that line
also do you use ⊗⊗⊗⊗ mexican ids with random google maps addresses when registering? or do you check their validity?

Thanks for you info. Etsy requires direct checkout so they need a bank account, not PayPal. Also the stealth guide mentioned that you need to be within 100 miles of your account. Mexico is far away my where my ip address is going to show. It shows up on etsy as a number and a city and country.
As well, the phone number?
I'm getting so overwhelmed.

Yes. The name address and phone number have to be real and the same person. I just looked up a name in the phone book and then did a reverse phone look up to be sure it confirmed that address.. Bank doesn't matter. I used Tangerine to create an online acct with my real name and used new name on Etsy. Birthday doesn't matter. Also, location needs to be turned off of device. New user id and email iin same name. Prepaid cc registered with postal code of new address. Previously I had the address and phone but used a variation of my own name. That's what didn't work. New IP address from unplugging my device for 1/2 hour. Also changed my internal device IP by one number.
New pictures of items using the new user id.

New name, address and phone of someone real, (I got from phone book but I thought of using a city councillor and looking them up).
Do a Canada 411 reverse phone look up and it will confirm that person is at that address.
Get a new bank account. Tangerine online worked for me, get their routing and institution number from their website, you also get a $50 sign up bonus, use your real name.

Get a prepaid cc from Walmartor other store for $25 and register it online to the new postal code.

Change IP by unplugging computer for at least 1/2 hour.
Then change your internal IP by 1 humber. You go to your wifi and hold it down and then "manage accounts comes up" press that and then change dhcp to static and change the nlast number by one.
Turn off Google "location".

New email under new name. Gmail is best.
New user id on computer
Get new pics of your items with your new user id and have ready to go.
Write it all down,

With new user id, go to Etsy sign up.
Create new name and new store. Add pics and items. I did 2 to start.

Fill in new bank account with the new name, not yours. Banks will accept deposits with a wrong name.
Fill out anything for birthday, it doesn't matter,
It should verify with all that,
Then at the end add the new credit card with the new name and address, when you register it online (I used Vanilla prepaid) they just ask for the postal code to register it.

That's it.

How did you bypass SSN? I understand name, phone number, etcc... and my own bank info. and creating walmart visa etc... Thanks in advance

Hes in Canada, so no ssn.. ssn is for US sellers only.

They dont ever use the phone so I would just use a valid one from any place.

Photoshop an ID to match the name you need. I can probably help if you don't know to photoshop. But only for educational purposes, not to actually use. Because that would be illegal

You need to change your public IP (the one provided to you from your ISP). Most of the time this is done by restarting the router. Pull the plug, wait a few seconds, and put it in again.

What you are describing is the procedure of is changing a private IP. This will not work, as etsy won't see your private IP it'll only see your public IP and this public IP hasn't been changed by the procedure you described.

You can see your public IP on websites like whoer.net

Also you shouldn't take someones real data.

did you use the same device fingerprint or do you have addons for altering Canvas and Webgl fingerprint installed?
if not, do you block access to these values?

i assume you are blocking webrtc by default.

Unplugging on static internet produces a new ip number. 9 times out of 10.

What does this mean? what's the new user id? and new email in same name? As in when you creat gmail account, the name has to be consistent with what you put into Etsy?

Here 's what I've tried in the past few days. I created 3 accounts, one is active so for, 2 are deactivated. Please share any insights as to what you think I did wrong:

Here's how I've been openeing stealth accounts:

I use VPS from Google Cloud. I spin up a windows instance on Google cloud and use remote connection to connect to it from another PC.---->This should take care of the new IP, new computer issue.

I had new email, new name/address, new bank account, new visa

Here is what happened, 1 account survived 3 days, the other less than 24 hours, the third one is still open at the moment.

So, what did I do wrong?
