Shut down on Etsy....
 

I was just shutdown on Etsy....I had no cases open and many RECENT 5 stars and wonderful feedback! I am so upset.....anyone know how I can open a new one? I can have a new bank, address, I'm moving in a month so new IP, I'd use my LLC's EIN that I did not use before.......but how can I get around entering my SSN when I first create a seller account?

cant give an advice about SNN (cos i'm living overseas) but for IP, make sure to use normal vpn. like ipburger fresh virgin IP

some claimed they get around the SSN problem by claiming they are in MeXICO,American expatriates can link their US bank account to foreign Paypal account,but not sure if you can use Paypal anymore on Etsy.

If you call and give yourself a sob story they will reinstate. Just call until you get the right person. Dont give up

Any addl options? If I gave them my original SSN, do I have to open a business (and get lic/EIN to provide in place of SSN) or are there any other options for this?

I'm not as concerned with paying the Etsy seller fees, as they will be covered in sales. I'm just trying to figure out how to properly make a stealth acct that wont get linked.

Yeah just get an EIN and you should be good to go

I can help you open a new account. Send me a PM. I have multiple seller account that have all been open with no issue at all.
