Purchased Account Gone Wrong
 

I purchased an account through a member here. At first she was going to show me how to make accounts and give me the stealth info to get back on. I paid about $500 for that. She then suggested I pay a few hundred more to purchase one of her existing accounts. This went great except the she was receiving my funds to her bank account. She told me not to change a thing on the account so I didn't. She would transfer the funds to me each week. Bank of America supposedly froze her account 3 months ago with my 2 thousand dollars and I still cannot get it back from her. She says she is waiting for the state and Bank of America to release the funds. This has been a long drawn out process but I still do not have my 2k and this morning she changed the email and password of the account back to her own and I am guessing also the bank info as today is the day Etsy will deposit my funds right into her account. I am not sure where to turn. Can anybody suggest anything I can do to get the money back. She is actively still selling Etsy accounts.

Well who did you buy from?

This is why you should ONLY purchase accounts from approved vendors.

Sorry to say but you have been scammed here from the start.

You cant complain to Etsy,but you said she has more than one shops on Etsy,you could bombard her with emails asking her when you will get your money or give her a call.

I have waited to post on here because I am still trying to trust her. She has been on here for years. I don't even want to say her name. Keep checking my phone to see if she has messaged me back:(

She's not going to. If the person was 'gladiator' she was banned from here a long time ago.

Bank of America froze her account with my funds in it months ago. She says she is waiting on paperwork from the state to show Bank of America the documents they need to release the funds to her. She says she has spent her own money to file paperwork and is trying not to get blacklisted. Today she changed the login info on the etsy shop back to her own and says she did that because she was at the bank talking to BOA. What a nightmare. I was just looking for help to get back on. She did send me the first few deposits. I do believe this was a misunderstanding and appreciate her help but I also think she is going to keep that 2k and any funds being deposited today I will even take half the funds she owes me. I just need something and want access to the account I paid her for and worked so hard on:( I am inexperienced in the forum and clearly quite naive. Can anybody help me?

They are not a forum approved account seller

Its why its hard to really get a resolution as OP should really have not bought from them in the first place

We are working with the OP though to get the best result possible.

To avoid these sorts of things happening though buying from forum approved sellers will cut out nearly all issues.
