etsy deactivated my account but another account still working!
 

guys, is that normal!!

I had my Etsy account deactivated and affected my second store.
but I remember one day I created an Etsy store for my girlfriend using my laptop on a coffee shop wifi. yesterday I opened firefox and logged in into my GF account everything works fine and I'm using the same laptop no VPN.
I just created a listing yesterday, until now everything fine and the shop still working. but it's not indexed, when I try to search for the shop name or a product name I can't find it.

so Etsy will close it after a review or what

for sure you should have got a new IP

I think maybe once you make a sale their bots will sweep and find that

it's strange that they didn't find your other shop based on your photos - did you take them with the same camera? same laptop?

would be handy for me to know as I'm about to reopen my store and am cleaning my photos of everything, removing all extensions on my browser, removing all Etsy cookies....did you do any of this?

the same laptop but I just created a listing only for testing, I took one of my photos and changed the size, contrast and color balance with photoshop that's all.

but I haven't added any payments method yet because I want to use only PayPal. i don't wanna use Etsy payments.
i contacted the support to activate only paypal for me because I can't find it in other payments methods.

I have contacted Etsy support about changing my Etsy payments into PayPal, and they deactivated the shop again :/

haha, please if I'm not from the US how can I open an Etsy shop with a US vpn? i think they ask for SSN. I just want to use Paypal but Etsy doesn't allow that if you are in a country that accept etsy payments.

I have a us bank account I can use it, but I'm afraid they will ask me for an SSN

the only solution is to open a business - at least here in the UK that works....i don't know about US

for instance I'm opening a new business and I will use my sister as the name and address on Etsy. None of the money will actually get to her so she won't be effected taxwise....I checked this with my accountant.

I'm not from the US. I'm from morocco, I don't have a problem with direct checkout I cant use it in my country. we use only PayPal.

when i try to open a shop using a vpn it stay for one day and they close it after. i have changed the visa card, but its not working

Have you tried creating new shop with a new PP and credit card yet?

I have multiple accounts that pay out to my same bank account. Personally Ive never tried the Paypal route but I honestly like direct deposits to my account instead of messing with Paypal anyway.

Etsy now deactivated my account after 10 days and i have made 5 sales, I have no idea how they deactivated it again :/

I was using a private proxy, new user, new VCC, name, address...

So what bank details you are using ? can you use different account holder and different bank details?
