Etsy - Attaching Credit Card
 

Hello community,

I created new account on Etsy. I stock my shop(listed an item for selling) and now I need to provide info on that how i'll be paid. So I need to give info about my CC. I had account before on etsy but it's banned permanently. I have new CC but they require to write full name which is on the card, would be a problem if I write again my name/family name? I can write very close address to my real one( i dont think its big problem ).

Just wondering what to do with the CC process.

What would happen if I write different NAME ( not FAMILY ) for credit card information, same for " Tell us a litltle bit of yourself" ?

They cant see name of the card, put name which is given in your etsy account

After giving CC details and more details about myself, the next step is to provide/verify my ID.

Is it normal?

Wrong, they actually can see all the info attached to the card, they have AVS system in place. Please stop spreading these wrong informations.

I already didn't write my real name on the info for CC. I have wrote other name and I can provide the ID for verifying the name/date of birth as they requested.

I just thought is it a normal thing, I read on their forums and saw that many of the people are doing it, since e t s y request it

Pls where did you get cc or vcc to verify etsy?

Its my own cc, just requested from my bank new debit card. I do not have knowledge how to verify the etsy payments with vcc.

So now mates, should I here write my real name ( https://prnt.sc/q7kw8i ) or just to write the previous one name which I wrote and provided ID for it?

P.S Before I had account which is perm.susp. and wrote my real name on the card, got new card which is from the same bank, would they link me?

Should I keep it up with the same name which I used in the previous steps or with my real one?

Used the previous name which I used for my shop info and verifying the ID. I do not have any problems for now with it. Everything is good.

AVS checks street number and zipcode,no name .
They all access a database which has 99.9% of our credit card number,expiration date,address etc,but for some reason ,NO NAME OF THE CARDHOLDER.
Some cards are not on that database,usually a small organisation which issues cards to its members and do not bother to add to this data base as it cost them money and time,like a local plumber association or arts and craft club.

Hello everybody,i have the same problem, i need an account in some country where i can only accept paypal payments but i live in European countries irrespective of the one i have statement with ,so etsy ask for credit card details which is in my name and of course in the country i live in.Can i use this card?even if is in different name and country?
Appreciate any help on this .
