Etsy keeps deactivating my shops
 

Hi all,

I try to open just paypal shop, tried many times in the last week. The shop is always shut down in just few hours after I open it. I use new email, clean pc with ccleaner, new paypal, new mock ups. Tried with new account on pc too. Nothing helps. I upload a few of items and shop is down. I sell digital products, making new files to upload always when try open new shop, always is deactivated. I still even dont know why my previous shop was suspended, as I sell my own illustrations of animals, people send me photo and I draw their dog or cat or any animal. So there was not any trademark, copyright.. hundreds great reviews, I delivered always in 24 hours. Contacted etsy many times but never got answer, just general email. And now I cant open new one. I use IP from Private internet access. Could be this the problem ? Thank you very much for every help, I am really desperated.

You should be able to call them,instead of email.

Absolutely you're right she should be able to get through and get the account back unless you had another account with issues or a valid shut down and they linked it to that. It's possible they are taking longer to respond because of the holidays. How long has it been?

Are you changing your titles, tags and descriptions as well?
If your first shop was recently shut down, bots might very well be on the lookout for similarities in brand new shops.
Your native language is clearly shining through in your grammar and vocabulary, maybe also in your Etsy descriptions etc?

You cant use a VPN anymore at all. Also the credit card can be a problem.

What is up with the VPN? I have not tried using it though. Are there ANY people here using VPN with no problems? Or is it 100% fail rate?

I think Etsy has recently stopped taking VPNs. I currently have a shop that was opened 6 months ago with a VPN with no problem. It's still going strong with over 500 sales. Just this week, I decided to open another account with a VPN, and I couldn't even get past the initial registration portion. I think once you're "grandfathered" in with a VPN, it's fine. But any new accounts opened with a VPN will get flagged. Of course, this is all just speculation based on my own experience.

Does anybody know if we can open account with mobile IP for example and then use VPN after some time? Also maybe USA/UK VPNs do not work, but other countries VPNs work?
