UK Etsy Stealth Accounts - still doable?
 

Hi All,

Would anyone be kind to share some tools that I would need in order to set up my first etsy stealth account in the UK?

There's tons of info on UK eBay and PayPal but not a lot of details on UK etsy stealth

I figured i will require the following but please add more it i have missed out.

1. Fresh ip (use dongle)
2. New name and address
3. Fresh email
4. New bank account
5. New user account on laptop
6. Batch purifer to clean exif data on pictures

I understand on uk etsy they only allow direct checkout and not paypal.

Do I add my real name under the bank account info and not use stealth name under bank account info?

Any tips advice much appreciated.

I don't have all the answers but here's what worked for me.

I bought a basic tablet from Ebay and a £20 sim card from EE

I used a friends details (with their permission) and went to their house to open the account (read the Etsy notice about how they get/use the information they do - mobile masts?)

I paid my friend £100 to open an account for me.

Total cost £200 which I made back quickly

If you are serious do not be a cheapskate

There is more but that is the basics - forget VPN, I'm not sure about VCC - it's perfectly doable - but you need to spend and be logical

I should add this account is very recent and can not say how resiliient it will be. I have had 3 sales but no payout yet - fingers crossed

I know on accounts I have setup etsy will state they cannot verify your address, i just refresh 3 times and then it will ask me for proof of identity, which you will have to upload. after that no issues.
Use real debit card,real bank account, new laptop, 4g data dongle.

Is it still up?

Hi mate, is this still active now? & when you said you are using a tablet & ee sim, I’m guessing this is all using 4g?

I got one UK account from Duab just to save the headache.

All I needed to do is create new windows user and use my hotspot to login. Things seem pretty straight so far

However making UK stealth etsy accounts with non-existent personal information isn't possible.

I got one, listed a few items, warming it up. Haven't experienced any issues so far
