Coronavirus and new accounts

Along with Ebay and Amazon Etsy appear to have had a marked downturn in their level of business.

Is there any evidence to suggest a pause in their cull of accounts or in less stringent security protocols when opening new accounts as the new reality settles in and, I assume, they will want to do all they can to underpin their income stream

I don't think so. They are still shutting down accounts. I had an account open for years that just went down and I did not do anything different. Completely stupid. So I don't think they're worried about a downturn. It was actually busier than ever before they shut it so that may be what triggered a review

Do we even know why are they doing all this shutdowns? I see other competitor stores that were really well created and legit from different countries (Austrialia, Mexico, US) with excellent reviews that also went down.

Did they give you a reason why you were shutdown? Maybe too many open cases?

99% of the things are automated, accounts are flagged by their implemented algorithms based on many criteria.. there's rarely an event where a human makes the actual decision only when necessary.
