Etsy - Payment Processing
 

Hi,

I created a new stealth etsy and had my first order and was paid out so it seemed fine. I listed two new products and got several orders very quickly but all of them have payment processing on them.... I assume they've put me under manual review.

Has this happened to anyone before? and if so what was the outcome?

It happened to me on a fairly new account this week - I don't know why but now showing as paid and in my balance

From my experience, I think they'll review the transaction/order at all. i.e manual review

Verification means that etsy is reviewing your account for unauthorized activity, for example you are selling a product from aliexpres and somebody complaints to Etsy. In last two days 2 of my Etsy accounts has been hold for verification. One has been released other one still not.
One idiot wrote to me in an email that he complaints etsy that I was selling a product from aliexpres.

All my orders are now confirmed and the money is in my balance now so that's good. I received no communication as to why I did change to a new proxy I think that's why it happened but who knows.

Which shows that Etsy accounts are doable - well done - keep it good and good luck for the future

Try to make the account as a normal person would do as they would do I don't want to give too much information away as I could sell this as a service if people wanted UK etsy accounts.

You have clearly cracked the algorythm - suggestion - get a 'spare' in place

I have a couple of orders pending as well, 1st one went through okay, hope these go through.

Other account working well stealth.

If they suspect you are just reselling items purely from Aliexpress and your shop is fairly new then your account will be manually reviewed. They are planning to crack down on resellers

Yes keep it simple, keep products similar, don't try to get too big, move onto another shop to spread sales.

My payments went through okay :)

I made 4 stealths and lost one testing out aliexpress.

They said I am not allowed to sell mass produced items.
