| depifish | 05-04-2020 01:05 PM | et.sy and instagram Hello! I have successfully (so far...) opened a new shop a couple of months ago, and it seems fine. I have uploaded only 5 products so far and I asked a friend to place an order and everything is fine so far.
Now, I would like to start using facebook and instagram again. I was thinking of changing name on my old instagram and facebook page and use my new brand, is it possible to link it somehow to my old et.sy account? Is it possible all these old photos on my old instagram link to my old shop? By the way, I have already logged in to my old instagram with my smartphone that I use to log in to my new shop but nothing has happened yet! Doesn't seem to link to each other I suppose but I'm not quite sure if I have just been lucky until now! |

But I've used my FB before in the same way to send people to a shop that is now deactivated. Can Etsy track where inbound links are coming from? I could create a new FB account but marketplace is so finicky I'm sure they won't let me use it consistently as a new account. |

What I'm interested in knowing is how specific is is he tracking, does Etsy also record which profile/page does the link come from? |

Because I sent shoppers to it from my personal facebook. And Ive used that fb to send links to my shops for friends before I was banned. Pretty sure I made marketplace adds for the shops too but in every case I would have just copied a link and sent it through messenger or the comments. I'm sure I did everything else right with the new stealth shop because I dont have trouble creating new stealth anymore. Most trouble I get is suspension but this was all out deactivation. So to be on the safe side I would assume yes, they can track which FB profile is sending traffic, even though I don't know how |
