Hi USA Seller Trying to Make a Stealth Etsy Account
 

Hi, I'm trying to make a stealth etsy and trying to figure out what I need to know. I've read through the forums but the information seems to be outdated or conflicting information

Is the process to create a stealth etsy the same as stealth ebay?

I don't believe (from everything I read here on the forum) it is but having no experience with etsy I couldn't tell you how it differs.

It is more akin to making an Amazon stealth account than Ebay

You need to be at the top of your stealth game to work Etsy - In the US SSN is your biggest issue to solve

i have a friend who can use details to open up an etsy account but can i connect my bank account? or any idea whats the best way to keep out my friend from the tax issues so i can pay it by my self.

Open the account in your friends details and use their bank account. Make 3 sales and allow the funds to go to your friends account.

Then change the bank account in the payments section (disbursments will be held for 5 days) Add your account If it will accept deposits in other names that's all you need to do but you can add your own name if you wish. A work around is to go to your bank and open an account with your name, trading as your Etsy shop name. You can then put your shop name as the payee in Adyen

If you are planning to go this route give some thought as to what you plan to call your shop - Jane Doe T/A Jane's Creations is credible

Wouldn't this also work for Managed payments on EB? Also why not just create a bank account under a businessname and sign up on etsy as a business name, would that work?

Thanks for the brilliant info, im using a MacBook so my old etsy account was in there, do i have to change the mac or can i use with a different user? Also i have virgin sim for my i pad can i use that as my new internet connection through thetering please?

I have no knowledge of Macbook - if in doubt change it

Ipad with new sim is fine assuming no previous contact with Etsy

Make sure to use fresh and dedicated VPN and configure your firewall settings (only applies to windows) to block all non VPN traffic.
